Farrel-McWhirter Park is one of the most overlooked parks offering a small farm with pigs, cows, chickens, bunnies, goats and ponies. Kids can take pony riding lessons and learn how to care for and ride ponies. There are also a few large picnic areas offering shelters with grills and electricity. It is also a great place for orienteering. There is also a pre-school that operates on the grounds. There is an outdoor riding arena and walking trails as well as horseback riding trails.

Marymoor Park – offers tennis courts, soccer fields, climbing rock, off leash dog park with dog wash, nature trail, bird watching outtings, model airplane field, baseball field, Velodrome Cycling, bike trails, reflexology foot path, pea patch garden, Summer Concerts, Clise Mansion for events, rowing and vole watching.
